My testing covered a number of websites over time. SiteGround servers consistently had faster server response time than Bluehost. SiteGround has datacenters around the world: Chicago, Amsterdam and Singapore.

SiteGround outperformed Bluehost on every site we tested. Bluehost is dedicated to WordPress and other software platforms, but their overall speed has been called “sluggish” in some internet reviews.
